Love without words in Bangladesh
Bangladesh | OM International

Living in dire circumstances, a group of mainly women believers meet every week for fellowship and prayer. As well as surviving the paralyzing grind of poverty, they often have to face opposition for their faith from family and neighbours.
Recently Lipo, an elderly lady, arrived to fellowship. She was very concerned for her daughter, Tora, who had recently given birth to a baby daughter. Since the birth, Tora had been paralyzed down one side, which meant that her baby daughter was becoming increasingly malnourished. Tora's husband and her in-laws wanted to 'give up' the newly born daughter. After all, they argued, she was only a girl and she was their third girl. No medical help was even offered for Tora: probably because she didn't seem able to produce sons.
As Lipo poured out her heart, the fellowship knew they had to help and show love to Tora. Even though it meant them changing their schedules, and taking days off work, they were able to get Tora and her baby daughter into a hospital for treatment. They visited, provided food and prayed. They are still doing so.
Such instances spread the fragrance of Christ, and proclaim His love loudly for all to hear - without words.
