United Airlines has just presented OM Founder and International Director Emeritus George Verwer with a platinum award card for flying one million miles. George, who describes himself as a “spiritual gypsy,” admits that back in the ’70s he had a phobia of flying and had to struggle hard to overcome it. Since the age of 17 George has spent 56 years in non-stop ministry. The pace continues with up to 300 meetings and conferences each year that take him all over the world.
