One of the jobs that Mary, an OM Argentina team member in Cordoba, does for her team is pick up the literature packages that OM receives through the mail.

One afternoon Mary went to the mail office to pick up the packages. Once she was there, she realized she would need to pay about AR 50 pesos (about 15 USD). She had just enough money. When she walked to the other desk to retrieve the packages she found she would need to pay five pesos more. She told the clerk that she had no more money. The man in line behind her pulled out a ten pesos bill and said that he would pay for Mary and himself. Mary was astonished and didn’t want to receive the money, but the man insisted. Mary took the Gospel of John from the package and offered it to him. He did not receive the book, saying he was a Jehovah Witness and already had a Bible.

Though the man did not take the Gospel, praise the Lord for providing and for honouring Mary’s efforts by using this man to help pay for literature that will bless many in the future.

LA PROVISIÓN DE DIOS EN PEQUEÑAS COSAS

Una de las funciones de Mary, miembro del equipo de OM Argentina en Córdoba, es recoger los paquetes de literatura que llegan por correo.

Una tarde, Mary fue a la oficina de correos para recoger paquetes. Estando allí, se dio cuenta que debería pagar unos USD 15 (dólares estadounidenses), alrededor de 50 Pesos Argentinos. Revisó los bolsillos y no tenía más que esa cantidad. Cuando fue a otro mostrador, le dijeron que tenía que pagar cinco pesos más, a lo que respondió que no tenía más dinero y volvería otro día. El hombre que le seguía en la fila mostró un billete de diez pesos al agente de correo y dijo que pagaría por Mary y por él. Mary, sorprendida no quería recibirlo pero el hombre insistió. Entonces Mary sacó del paquete un evangelio de Juan y quiso retribuir la generosidad de aquella persona. El hombre no lo recibió, dijo que era testigo de Jehová y que ya tenía Biblia.

Aunque aquel hombre no se llevó el evangelio, alaba a Dios por proveer y honrar el esfuerzo de Mary utilizando aquella persona para ayudar a pagar por la literatura recibida que será de bendición para muchos que sí la reciban.
