Bloody lips ask for forgiveness

Kosovo | OM International

English/Espanol

The football game suddenly exploded into a fist fight with two bloody lips! One of the young men swore at another guy and the fight erupted! The OM Kosovo leader was discouraged – several of these young men, including the two with bloody lips, were new believers from Muslim backgrounds. A couple of people prayed. Within two hours, one of the guys phoned the other, and they agreed to meet and reconcile.

“I was so moved to see these tough guys ask forgiveness of each other and make up. The one guy felt terrible as he said he let many of the younger kids down by his bad example. It was really a testimony to see God at work in their lives,” commented an OM ministry leader.

Amongst its many ministries, OM Kosovo sponsors a Youth Centre that offers a variety of after-school Bible and education clubs and sports activities. The team is making a difference in the lives of teens and their families. Praise the Lord for the strong witness these young men demonstrated, and pray for the other young men that haven’t come to faith in God.
