A New LandLORD

Kosovo | OM International

Christmas SpiritEvery Saturday evening, ten men gather in the OM Kosovo Vision Center that normally hosts swarms of children. Many of these men are the fathers of the children that the OM team has reached out to in the surrounding village. These men join together to examine the differences between Orthodoxy, Islam, and Christianity. One of the men that attends these meetings, and now is a part of the local church, is Nezir.

Nezir has a personality that likes to bring joy and fun to any situation. He loves to help and be a part of what the OM team is doing; he even actively participated in the Operation Christmas Child shoebox distribution at a local elementary school. Nezir is a history teacher at the more advanced high school in Peja, and his students love him. However, his life has not always been as just depicted. Once it was full of alcohol, lots of smoking, and terrible family relationships. When he became the landlord to one of the OM houses, and a relationship began to form, things slowly changed in Nezir’s life. There is now peace in his house that once was filled with so much anxiety and strife. There is now joy on the face that once was marked by so much sorrow and anger. God has indeed done a redemptive work in his heart and in his life. Nezir plans to be baptized soon, and is overjoyed by this, as is the OM team. Would you join us in praying for God to continue this beautiful work inside this man? He indeed makes all things new when He comes to reign!
