Prayer for PSSC

Ships | OM International

Passenger Ship Safety Certificate surveys are being conducted on board Logos Hope. Representatives from the ship's classification society are on board for inspections which include machinery, fire protection systems, life-saving equipment, safety drills and documentation. An enormous amount of work has been done to get the ship to the point where these inspections can take place, and obtaining this certificate is a crucial milestone towards launching the ship into ministry. Would you join with us in special prayer at this time?

Pray for the technical personnel, and indeed the whole ship's company, as they work with the surveyors. Pray that the surveyors will be impressed by the equipment and standards on board. Pray that a conditional certificate will be issued, so that remaining work can be identified and completed in good time. Pray for those who have been working long hours - especially those in the engine room. Pray that the ship can sail from Denmark soon so that the schedule of port visits can begin. Give thanks for God's provision and the partnership from around the world that has brought the project to this point.
