A new landlord

OM International

Every Saturday evening, ten men gather in the OM Kosovo Vision Centre that normally hosts swarms of children. Many of these men are fathers of the children that the OM team has reached out to in the surrounding village. These men come together to examine the differences between Orthodoxy, Islam, and Christianity. One man who attends, Nezir, is now also part of a local church.

Nezir has a personality that brings joy and fun to any situation. He loves to help and be a part of what the OM team is doing; he even actively participated in the Operation Christmas Child shoebox distribution at a local elementary school. Nezir is a history teacher at the advanced high school in the area, and his students love him. However, his life had not always been so joyful.

Once, it was full of alcohol, smoking and terrible family relationships. When he became the landlord of one of the OM houses, relationships began to form. Nezir's life slowly changed. Now there is peace in his house that was once filled with anxiety and strife. And now there is joy on his face that was once marked by sorrow and anger. God has indeed done a redemptive work in Nezir's heart and life, and he plans to be baptised soon.

Praise God for what he has done in Nezir's life. Pray for Nezir and his home. Pray for the work of OM in Kosovo - especially for the other men gathering on Saturday evenings. And pray for more people, like Nezir, to be reached throughout Kosovo.
