LOGOS HOPE LAUNCHES INTO MINISTRY SERVICE! – Ships International

Logos Hope, OM’s newest vessel, launched into ministry service, departing from Køge, Denmark on Thursday, 19 February, following a massive project of conversion and outfitting. The ship’s first port of call will be Gothenburg, Sweden, then ports in the Netherlands, UK, Faroe Islands and Ireland. 

International Co-ordinator for OM, Peter Maiden said: “As Logos Hope sails from Køge a great day has arrived in the history of OM Ships and, I believe, in the history of OM. It is both encouraging and challenging to think of the huge number of people who will meet with God on this vessel or through teams sent from this vessel in the years to come.”

The Faroe Islands-registered Logos Hope will ‘bring knowledge, help and hope’ to people in port cities all over the world. The ship carries vital literature resources, aid supplies and an all-volunteer crew and staff.

Praise the Lord that Logos Hope has set sail! Please pray for the work that still needs to be done on board. Please pray for the many visitors who will board the ship, that their eyes and hearts will be opened to hearing the Good News.

LANZAMIENTO DEL LOGOS HOPE AL MINISTERIO – Barcos Internacional
El Logos Hope, nuevo barco de OM, fue lanzado al ministerio cuando zarpó de Køge, Dinamarca, el 19 de febrero pasado, al haberse completado un enorme proyecto de conversión y adaptación. El primer puerto que el barco visitó fue Gothenburg, Suecia, y luego llegó a Holanda. Los próximos países a visitar serán Reino Unido, Islandia e Irlanda.

Peter Maiden, Coordinador Internacional de OM dijo: “Cuando el Logos Hope zarpó de Køge, llegó un gran día en la historia de los Barcos de OM y, creo yo, en la historia de OM también. Es tan animante como desafiante pensar en el gran número de personas que conocerán a Dios en este barco o a través de los equipos enviados desde el mismo en los años venideros.”

El Logos Hope está registrado oficialmente en las Islas Faroes, y tiene el propósito de “llevar conocimiento, ayuda y esperanza” a la gente en las ciudades portuarias alrededor del mundo. El barco lleva literatura vital, elementos de ayuda humanitaria y su tripulación y personal están compuestos sólo por voluntarios.

¡Alaba a Dios por la primera navegación del Logos Hope! Por favor ora por el trabajo que aun falta ser completado. Ora también por los muchos visitantes que vendrán a bordo del barco, que sus ojos y corazones estén abiertos para oír las Buenas Nuevas.

LOGOS HOPE LANCEMENT DANS LE MINISTÈRE ! - Les Bateaux d’OM

Logos Hope, le plus récent navire d’OM, a quitté Køge au Danemark le jeudi 19 février pour débuter son ministère, après d’importants travaux de reconversion et d’équipement. Le navire dont la première escale sera Göteborg, en Suède, touchera ensuite les ports des Pays-Bas, du Royaume-Uni, les îles Féroé et l’Irlande.

Peter MAIDEN (Coordinateur International d’OM) a déclaré : « Alors que le Logos Hope quitte Køge, c’est un grand jour dans l’histoire des bateaux d’OM, et, je crois, dans le ministère d’OM en général. C’est à la fois encourageant et stimulant de penser au grand nombre de personnes qui vont rencontrer Dieu à bord ou par l’intermédiaire d’équipes envoyées à partir de ce navire dans les années à venir. »

Le Logos Hope (immatriculé aux îles Féroé) apportera de la connaissance, de l’aide et de l’espoir à ceux qui vivent dans les ports du monde entier. Le navire transporte de la littérature, du matériel d’aide, des fournitures ainsi qu’un équipage et un personnel entièrement bénévoles.
