OM New Zealand’s TEA (Training, Evangelism, Adventure) 2009 is in full swing. The second of five TEA outreaches for 2009 is taking place right now, from 14 February to 24 April. TEA, a ten-week discipleship and evangelism adventure training program, invites participants ages 18-30 to experience God’s presence in new ways by being stretched spiritually and physically. After an initial week of training, teams travel around New Zealand where they take part in discipleship study and outdoor activities like kayaking, rock-climbing, rafting, snow-boarding, etc. One TEA participant commented about the adventure:

“We're all having a great time, growing in our relationships with God through our daily devotions and teaching. We've also had a great week with each other with lots of laughs, deep discussions and prayer. The kayaking adventure was stunning because of God's presence. The sun was beaming and we stopped in the middle of the lake in complete silence to reflect on God's beauty. At night we shared our testimonies around the camp fire. The work God has done in each of our lives is amazing and we're excited about being on this adventure together and seeing what God will continue to do in us.”

Please pray for the TEA team during the rest of their adventure. Pray that they experience God in personal ways and are bold in reaching out to those they meet. If you’re interested in learning more about the TEA adventure program, visit www.omnz.org.nz/TEA/index.asp.

KIWIS, KAYAKS Y CRISTO – Nueva Zelanda
