What did Sasha do?

During the summer, workers of OM Ukraine organised 10 Bible camps for children, ages 6-15. The camp in Trostonets, like any any other summer camp, had a few boys offending the others. They were probably seeking attention by their use of foul language and the fights they caused. To maintain discipline in the camp, these boys were sent to Anya, OM worker and camp coordinator. They expected to be reprimanded and punished, but instead Anya shared with them about Christ. She told them that only He could really help them and be their true Friend. One of the boys, Sasha, told her that neither does he have friends nor does it bothers him much. Anya decided to pray for him. She asked God to help him make the right choices. After the prayer, Sasha asked the other boy for forgiveness and thanked Anya for the prayer. 

Later that day, the OM team invited the children to trust Jesus as Friend and Saviour. The very first child to respond was Sasha. He prayed and trusted Jesus to be his Friend forever. His joy, about having a new Friend, was visual for all to see.

The next day, Sasha was brought again to Anya as he offended somebody. Anya asked him about his decision the previous day and told him that only Jesus could help him conquer the desire to bully others. Immediately, Sasha asked the other child for forgiveness and they prayed together. Praise God, that He always forgives and helps us in our weaknesses.
