The Gospel of Mark into 1200 homes

At first we were a little nervous about it. We had never before just handed out literature like that on the streets! But to our surprise, most people accepted it well and some even started reading it on the spot! We handed out 1200 Gospels of Mark in just three days!

I would look at the heaps of literature before our distribution times and my heart would sing for joy! We know that the Bible is the Word of God and that it has power to change people's lives.

Most people here have never held a Bible in their hands, even less read one! As Muslims, they have heard only changed stories about Jesus. Now 1200 of them have been given the chance to read the «original story» of the life and teaching of Jesus straight from the Bible!

Each Gospel of Mark had a little leaflet in it, introducing our church and offering a free copy of the New Testament. Quite a few have already called back and asked for one. We hope and pray that even more will respond to our invitation!
