Central Asian "My First Bible Words" precious even to a toddler

Caucasus | OM International

OM EAST - Central Asian boyA Central Asian family received a copy of "My First Bible Words". They report, "Our daughter has just learnt to read. Often we find her fast asleep at night still clutching her precious book!"

Ilkin* lives with his family of 6 members in a two room apartment in Central Asia. His parents don’t believe in God but his aunt does. When Ilkin was 7 years old, he learnt to read "My First Bible Words". He loved it so much that he told his cousins about it. How sad he became when he found out they didn’t have a copy of their own. Quickly he ran to his aunt to ask for three more copies. Soon, his wish was granted, and now they have copies of their own to read.

Tural* is only 18 months old and just learning to walk. The active toddler often climbs onto his grandma’s lap holding "My First Bible Words" in his hand. He is fascinated by the pictures in the book and excitedly points to the page he wants his grandma to read to him.
