God's love for the lost, broken and downtrodden

Kosovo | OM International

English/Español

Struggling with a mental handicap, Gezim* once was imprisoned for killing another man. Others living in his building fluctuate between fear and pity for this man. Having been cast down and tortured his entire life, he struggles to simply live. In seeking to live Jesus’ love out for the downcast, OM Kosovo has crossed the threshold of his room multiple times to clean and sanitise in a small way. Though reality stands that these sacrificial actions may never bear fruit, prayer abounds that God’s love will penetrate the darkest parts of his heart.

Mirjeta* has four children who still live with her and the man who is occasionally the dad and husband he should be. Having some physical problems herself, her children all struggle with disabilities, from being mute to slightly crippled. Many of the medical problems that plague her family have simple cures. But, since the family earns part of their income from salvaging dumpsters throughout the city, it is hard for them to afford even the simplest of things.

Pray for the OM team as they continue to reach out to the lost, broken, abused and downtrodden in Kosovo, and that those whose lives they touch would be changed and Jesus be made known to them.
