Seeker in a small Turkish town

Mahmut lives in a small town in the province of Siirt.  He began to write in to the Bible Correspondence Course about a year ago.  Two brothers from a church visited him at his workplace a few times.  Each time he was so excited and wanted to sit and talk for hours and hours.  After a period of several months we contacted him again from the BCC office.  He was overjoyed that we planned to visit him and when we arrived he had gathered a few of his friends together to meet us and listen to our message.  Mahmut’s heart is hungry for the peace of Christ.  Through the New Testament, books, and more importantly the testimony of those two brothers, Mahmut is growing towards the Lord. He is now planning a picnic and has invited several people from that church.

Pray for Mahmut and his friends and for the church to grow in that small town.
