When OMer Samuel first arrived in Central Asia, his language teacher introduced him to two students. One of them had recently come to faith while the other was still searching. Each time Samuel met to disciple the believer, his friend Shan would come along too. After a while this friend also gave her life to the Lord.

Samuel and his family went to Shan’s wedding. When she became pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy, the couple were full of questions about how Samuel and his wife raise their daughter. As they shared their experiences, Shan and her husband were keen to learn about teaching the Bible to children. Samuel and his wife feel privileged to share this faith journey with Shan and her family.

Prayer: Pray for God’s blessing on such friendships along the Silk Road.
