"Radio is My Church."

Central Asia | OM International

Afghans celebrate New Year at the spring equinox. The radio follow-up pastor contacted nearly 100 listeners to give them the traditional greeting – ‘Nao Roz Mubarak’. In one conversation a young man said, "Radio is my church." Another expressed his desire is to get a Bible. A third man said how much the morning programme had meant to him and encouraged us to "keep at it."

Many TV viewers were also contacted and given New Year greetings. Several people responded by asking that their greetings be given to the presenters of the TV programme. Most encouraging of all, two people pressed the follow-up pastor on how they could become Christians. Evidence of the Holy Spirit's preparation was very clear.

Prayer: Pray for the many radio and TV contacts to grow in faith.
