Car company invests in the future

A car company is working with OM Argentina to provide support and education for young people.   While OM is purchasing a building, Volkswagen will cover the cost of computers and furniture for a learning centre in a poor neighbourhood of Las Violetas in Cordoba.  The aim is to help ten youngsters with English, mathematics and basic computer training. 

However, OM Argentina hopes to do even more.  “We are planning to run this educational space on a daily basis,” wrote Tonje Eklund.  “A young couple from Uruguay will arrive at Easter to take charge of the project.  Our dream is that we will also have the opportunity to share about our faith in Jesus Christ. And to see a change in the whole Las Violetas neighbourhood.”

Praise God for the willingness of VW to invest in the lives of young people and pray for lasting fruit from this project.
