Turmoil amid the celebrations
Kosovo | OM International
The last, and most important, night of Ramadan (the Muslim's month of fasting) is a time of feasting and celebration. In Kosovo, music was blaring from the mosques and there was a sense of excitment. The following morning Yetmir*, a local believer, asked for prayer for his wife Lida*. She had been awake all night in a terribly anxious state. Her heart was beating too fast and she had to spend three hours in hospital receiving injections to calm down. Lida* is full of fears, worrying that she might receive a phone call telling her that someone has died. She is still grieving the loss of her father. During Ramadan, her personal turmoil seemed to be intensified.
A local worker shared, "I believe God is drawing her to Himself!" Please pray for Yetmir and Lida and others like them in Kosovo.
