  • Alumni Coordinator
    5-20 hours per week
    Our Alumni Department keeps in contact with OMers who have returned home from the field: building relationships, praying, inviting them to events. Involves correspondence on a regular basis via phone, letter and email.

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    Loving heart, strong prayer life, good communication and relational skills

  • Bookstore Associates
    23 hours per month
    Volunteers are needed to assist in our bookstore assisting customers, filling online and phone orders, keeping inventory, etc. We also need occasional help manning book tables at missions conferences, churches and other special events. Knowledge of FaceBook and E/Bless helpful.

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    Computer knowledge, experience with Excel is helpful, friendly attitude, love of books

  • College Recruiting
    12 hours per week
    The college ministries team needs volunteers to conduct follow-up phone calls with college students who have expressed an interest in missions as well as volunteers willing to stay in contact with college students who are involved in the application process for joining OM. Job duties would include making phone calls, sending emails, providing information, etc. Training is available.

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    A heart for college students and missions; strong prayer life; good communication and relational skills
  • Facilities/Grounds
    once/week, once/month, seasonal – individuals, groups.
    Everything from cleaning, painting, plumbing to cutting grass and pulling weeds. These opportunites are great for persons who want to do a group project or be involved on a sporadic basis.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Good attitude, willingness to work

  • Prayer Team
    20 hours per month
    Commit to gathering a group on a regular basis to pray for the world, OM, and other needs as reported. Coordinate and facilitate prayer meetings at church. Create initiatives such as adopting a country to pray for.

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    Strong prayer life, heart for missions and the lost

  • Fleet Vehicle Maintenance
    5-10 hour week
    Help keep the fleet automobiles clean inside and out.
    Working in OM garage with cleaning supplies and equipment supplied.

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    On-going commitment, Flexible, Good attitude and willingness to work

  • Short-term Missions - Editor
    Flexible hours
    Proofread Short-Term Website for errors

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    Must be detail oriented and able to edit documents

  • Short-term Missions - Enquiry Coach
    2 days/week, 4-5 hours/day
    Helping applicants decide on a course of action by guiding them through the opportunities that OM USA offers.
    Communicating with applicants via phone, email, Facebook, text, etc.
    Training will be provided on the job
    This work can be done remotely.

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    Must enjoy talking with people and helping them visualize their future. Basic computer skills, ability to learn database system.

  • Short-term Missions - Coordinator
    Up to 30 hours/week
    Coordinate short-term opportunities for individuals and teams.
    Reviewing applications, checking references, communicating with the receiving field on behalf of the applicant.

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    Must be good communicator by phone and email. Must be organized and able to work within deadlines.  Must have basic computer skills.

  • Short-Term Missions - Administrator
    12 hours/week
    Promote short-term options on OM USA web site. Uploading short-term applications into database system.
    Training will be provided on the job.

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    Basic computer skills, ability to learn BBEC.

  • Short-Term Missions - Technical Assistant
    12 hours/week
    Assist the team analyst in designing and implementing productivity and work environment improvements, by developing, training and troubleshooting IT issues within the short-term department.
    Training will be provided on the job.

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    Must have advanced computer skills, specifically Excel, Visual Basic, HTML, Java Script. Must be able to communicate complicated IT issues in basic language.

  • Human Resources - Staffing
    1-3 days/week long-term with a lot of flexibility
    To assist in the daily operation of the staffing area
    Maintain files
    Assist in maintaining contact with inquirers
    Assist in tracking & maintaining contact with candidates for paid positions
    Maintaining church email list

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    MicroSoft Office, Administrative experience

Make a significant impact on the world from right here in the United States. OM USA is a Christian missions organization located in Tyrone, Georgia (near Atlanta). We are looking for men and women who can commit their time, use their knowledge and share their experiences to make a difference in sharing the Gospel with the World. Volunteer opportunities exist for individuals and groups from one day to several months or even years. Volunteers have the opportunity to meet missionaries, encourage the work at OM USA and touch lives overseas for eternity.
