We will be joining with local believers and the team coming from the Transform conference for a combined effort to contribute to bringing the Gospel to the Cantal department.Imagine an area covering 4000 square miles, with nearly 150,000 inhabitants... and only two or three churches! The department of Cantal in France is one of the least reached areas in the country. We will be joining with local believers accross the area to bring the gospel in very concrete ways to a people in great need.

You can be a part of what God is doing in France!
There will be workshops to train you in the methods to be used during the week and to give you some context for the local cultural and spiritual climate. During the outreach we will meet for daily prayer, worship, and devotional times. Ministry activities with church members will run from Monday to Saturday. Ministry may include:
Letter box distribution, door-to-door distribution, street outreach, perhaps kids clubs and outreach evenings. We are still working to fix the final programme!
There will also be a day of rest and tourism.
If one word could describe your profile, it would be HUMBLE, see participants profile Philippians 2:5-8. Are ready to serve your Maker in whatever way He requires of you? We are looking for participants with a servant-heart, ready to be taught by and used by God during this project. You need to be prepared to work as a part of a team. Your team will likely be multi-cultural, so you should be ready to adapt, and accept differences in others.
Although not obligatory, knowledge of French would be an advantage, to help communication with the local church and contacts that we meet.
You will be housed either at a church, or in church members’ homes. You may need to bring an inflatable mattress and bedding. We will confirm this in the last few weeks before the start.
Most meals will be in the church or in church members’ homes. You should be prepared to help with meal preparation and clean-up.
You need to book and pay for your own travel to and from the outreach destination in France. Arrival is on 14th
July in the afternoon, and departure is Sunday 22 July in the afternoon.
The outreach destination and recommended travel options will be communicated as local details become more firm.
Please See "Travel".
Participants should be in reasonably good health, ready for an intense week. Any special needs (food allergies, special diet, a good bed due to back problems, etc.) must be communicated as early as possible so that organisers can prepare to receive that person! Each participant should arrange personal medical insurance to cover the period of the outreach.
It may get HOT in France in the summer! (32C/90F), please be prepared for this.
