Japan does not have Christmas day, they only know of Santa. So, we want to share the Christmas meaning through the Christmas outreach. Christmas is a good opportunity to share the Gospel with those who don’t know Jesus. We also want to build good relationships between local churches and OM Japan.Less than 0.5% of Japanese regularly attend a church. Over 90% have never heard about Jesus; who he is, what he has done, why he was born as a baby. The aim of this outreach is to reach out to the Japanese people with the wonderful message of our Saviour. This gospel really is good news for the Japanese, so come and share it with them and be part of what God is doing amongst them.
This outreach has a purpose.
To work in partnership with other churches, Christians and Non-Christians, we seek to shape Japan society for Christ. We hope that non-Christians will find it easier to visit and come to the church through the Christmas outreach program.
