Our purpose is to share the Gospel in the seaside city of Constanta and the surrounding area.Constanta is located on the shore of the Black Sea and is the biggest Romanian port and one of the big touristic places. The population is mainly Orthodox but also Muslim, and quite few evangelical Christians. Together with local churches we will reach out to children, adults and poor families.

We will support the local church planting projects. There are opportunities for sports ministry, children ministry, personal evangelism on the street, prayer walks and family visits. Our team members will be invited to share their testimony, to sing, to preach the gospel in different ways, to enjoy fellowship and to encourage local believers.
All participants should be physically fit, they should be team players with a teachable heart and a willingness to submit and grow. Being flexible, forgiving, encouraging, and having a good sense of humor is essential.
You will be hosted either by local families or at the local church premises. Please bring a sleeping bag with you.
The meals will be cooked and provided by sisters from the local church.
Please arrange your travel to and from airport Henry Coanda, Otopeni/Bucuresti, airport code OTP. If you arrive before 14:30, OM will pick you up there and arrange your ongoing travel. Please note that it may be necessary to wait at the airport for other international team members.
Also for departure, please ensure your flight time is not before 14:00. If you are not able to arrive and leave at these times, please don't buy a ticket until there is an agreement with your OM office.

All applicants are required to have a complete Traveler's Medical Insurance policy to cover the entire period. Please contact the medical services in your home country for vaccination requirements. You need to be in good health to be able to participate with us. (Please let us know of any allergies/conditions during your application process.)
Those from countries within the EU and North America will not need a visa, others will need to check with their embassies for details.
The common team language will be English but the locals will speak Romanian. Do not expect them to know or be confident enough to speak English. There will be a translator on your team. We will send you in your acceptance pack some basic phrases to learn too (Handbook Welcome to Romania).
