The Way of St. James (El Camino de Santiago in Spanish) is a world-renowned pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Every year, thousands of hikers from all over the world would come to Spain for this hike. It is also considered to be one of the most open areas in Europe to share the gospel, as most pilgrims are more open to listen, discuss and reflect while on the Camino.You will hike the Way of St. James with your teammates. You will find yourself surrounded by pilgrims coming from all parts of Spain and the rest of the world, and there will be lots of opportunities for you to make friends from all walks of life and share the gospel with them, both while you are walking and in the pilgrim hostels.

You will hike it alongside pilgrims who are hiking for different motives. Over the following days, you will walk, live and be challenged together. Each day you will walk from one town to another and spend the night in a pilgrim hostel, where you will be able to make new friends and reunite with pilgrims that you meet on the Way.
We are looking for people who:

➢ Are able to walk on average 20 km per day
➢ Want to be challenged physically, mentally and spiritually
➢ Want to meet new people and share their faith
➢ Are flexible, willing to listen and learn
We will stay in albergues (pilgrim hostels). Bedding is provided. Please bring a towel.
Self-catering. There will be supermarkets and restaurants in the towns that we stop by. You will be given 15€ per day for the 6 days of the hike, a total of 90€. Pilgrims eat very simple meals on the way, however, if you want to eat a hot meal for lunch and dinner at a fancy restaurant, please bring more money with you. The average price for a hot meal is around 10€.
You need to arrive on the 18th at La Coruña Airport (LCG) not later than 15:00 pm. You will be picked up by a team member.
Departure is on the 27th as early as you wish.

The hike is physically demanding. You need to be physically fit as the team will be hiking on average 20-25 km per day for 6 consecutive days in a typically rainy region.
A tourist visa (90 days) for most non-European participants will be given upon arrival at the airport. To see if you need to get a visa before arriving in Spain, contact the Spanish embassy or consulate in your home country.
We will start with supper on the 18th at 19:00 pm and we will be finished with supper on the 26th at the same time.
