The purpose of Love Africa is to unite the church in its effort to advance God’s kingdom on the African continent. This is accomplished through mobilising the church, missionary networking, and mission’s exposure for sponsors and church leaders; but it is also done through equipping the saints, in Africa and around the world, with practical tools to enter the harvest field. As the annual OM Africa missions conference in Kabwe, Zambia, Love Africa is an opportunity to hear stories from African missionaries and realise the possibilities that exist on the continent. Drawing 800-1000 participants from many different countries around the world, Love Africa offers African church pastors a challenge to mobilise their churches for the advancement of God’s kingdom, and international churches a challenge to see opportunities to partner with their African brothers and sisters.
The conference features multicultural worship, themed keynote messages, and workshops on a variety of missions-related topics. Throughout the conference, there are also missionary reports and testimonies from all OM Africa Area fields and ministries. Love Africa focuses on the celebration of the unity in Christ’s body around the world.
