Marketing & PR Manager, OM UK: United Kingdom

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day activity within the team, managing all of the key functions, covering such aspects as advertising, PR, literature, trade shows and promotional materials, direct marketing, online, and web.

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Commitment Length: as long as possible (Full Time)
  • You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of traditional and new media products & services for international and UK audiences.
  • You will work to continually improve external and internal communications across the wider organisation.
  • Managing external and internal resources, you will participate in the creative process ensuring cost-effective and on-time delivery.
  • You'll need a working knowledge of project management, creating and delivering, experience in a marketing, communications, fundraising environment.
  • You'll manage multiple projects, following the creative process from initial concept to delivery through appropriate marketing channels.

We need a person who is:

  • Highly motivated and creative, with some experience within a marketing /communications environment.
  • Experienced dealing with the press and with external agencies as well as an understanding of the design and print process is preferred. Experience organising events is also desirable.
  • Skilled to communicate at all levels and develop relationships across the organisation and the ability to network with other organisations.
  • A team player, able to build strong working relationships.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, organised and possessing high customer (partner) service awareness.
  • A highly empathetic team player, you will respect other cultures and have the ability to inspire others.
  • It is essential that you are wholly sympathetic with the aims and values of OM.

Over the New Year, OM Lifehope had the opportunity to join an outreach with Lakeside Church, a church plant in the Brierley Hill area. Lakeside is working to meet the needs of people and to share what it means to follow Jesus in the circumstances of everyday life.

20 participants from OM Lifehope came together from Germany, South Korea, the United States, Brazil, Russia, Israel and Paraguay to serve with Bright Meadows Christian Fellowship in Bolton on a ten-day outreach over the New Year.
