Lifehope New Year Outreach - Joy in the City: United Kingdom

Our purpose is to share the good news about Jesus with people in the Birmingham area.  We also want to equip you to reach out to others.

Over the new year period, many people have time off and think about new year resolutions. This is an ideal time to befriend people and bring them news of hope for the future. Together with many international young people and working alongside several churches, you will be reaching out to people with the love of God and the message of the Gospel in and around Birmingham. Come and join us and celebrate the New Year in a very different way, making a difference in people's lives!

Comments from some of our participants from last year:

“This outreach was exactly what I needed to take a step back from the busyness of life and refocus on God and my relationship with him in preparation for a new year.”
– Tamika from Barbados

“When I was giving out tracts I saw God working through us. Our English still wasn't very good but we could see some people challenged to think about the 'New Year Resolution' tract as we shared with them what we had done in the past week.”
– Simon from Switzerland

“While were cleaning one of the local streets, two police officers came up and shared that they were very pleased that some people cared for the area and trying to clean it up!!!”
