Impact Ireland 2011 - Service & Prayer Team: Ireland
Impact Ireland is all about sharing the Gospel with people who do not know Jesus, confident that the Gospel will make an impact in their lives.
We want to:
- introduce Irish people to Jesus by sharing the Gospel message widely and creatively, especially among children and young people.
- inspire Irish believers to live for Christ.
- encourage and support Irish churches in evangelism.
- help participants to grow in their love for God and their confidence in sharing the Gospel.
Working in a support role for Impact Ireland 2011, you will be serving the Impact teams throughout the orientation conference and outreach by praying for them and with them, and providing hospitality and catering services at Lacken House.

Ministry Details
The programme starts with three days of training and orientation at Lacken House, OM Ireland's headquarters, where you will be taking part in a sevice team: working in the kitchen and on a cleaning schedule. Travelling out from Lacken House during the week you will continue to provide vital prayer support by visiting teams across the country and bringing their needs and the needs of the Irish people before God.
Participant Profile
We are looking for people who are passionate about Jesus and want to promote the Gospel in Ireland through prayer and practical service. Team members need to be flexible and willing to try new things. A good level of English is required as all training and outreach activities will be in English. We accept married couples and will do our best to accommodate them together, however they may have separate sleeping accommodation.
Accommodation:
For the orientation you will be at Lacken House. We provide beds/mattresses for all during this time but all participants should bring a sleeping bag and pillow if desired. During the week it is possible that local churches will arrange some accommodation, so it advisable to bring an air mattress. We need to be informed in advance if you require a bed for medical reasons.
Food:
OM and the local churches you work with will ensure that you are fed during the programme. During the orientation all will be fed at Lacken House. During the week local churches will help organise food. In some cases the churches will provide & prepare food, in other cases they provide food & you will prepare. We need to be informed in advance of special dietary needs (vegetarian, etc...)
