A woman from the Arab world but had been living in the UK with her husband and three kids. She had read the gospel of Luke so many times that a friend of hers, a member of OM in the UK, gave her a devotional New Testament. “Stop reading it,” ordered her Muslim husband. Up until then, he had been aware of the Bible but seemed unconcerned. After a long conversation, she told her husband that she wanted to be a Christian. But he divorced her in the way of Islamic custom by saying, “I divorce you! I divorce you! I divorce you!”

So the woman had to flee her family home, leaving her children with her husband. Her father threatened her life should she ever return to their homeland. Since being in the UK, this new believer has gotten temporary help from government services and is trying to gain custody of her children. She also met her friend on the OM team. "I want you to take me to church," she said. "I want to learn the Bible. I love Jesus. I believe Him. I want to be a Christian."

Pray for this new believer who has sacrificed so much to follow Jesus. Pray for reconciliation with her husband, so that she can be a light and example to him.
