Administration
When he's not recording indigenous music with his wife Robin, Bill Harris is handling logistics for Heart Sounds International, a ministry of OM Arts. Recording teams need Bill's help buying plane tickets and budgeting expenses. So though his own heart would rather hear the sounds of exotic instruments and indigenous praise, Bill is often at a desk, content with the scratching of a pencil or the clicking of a calculator.
OM teams all over the world have to rely on multi-taskers like Bill to get administrative work done. Team members do not have the luxury of having only one job. As one field worker in Asia writes. "Our field leader is an electrician who is more at home in overalls than a suit. Our public relations person failed English and was advised to give up on it. Our self-taught accountant is so old that he reached retirement age before he even started with us. Most people on our team wear several hats. If you would like to pick up one, we have lots to spare. We need people for as little as a month or for as long as a lifetime. We need people to assist in literature and media production, relief and development, as well as accounting and public relations."
And that's just one field. Several overseas teams could use your skills. See these long-term options and pray about relieving a burden for one of these teams.
