Her prayer was answered in Slovakia. Mary, a participant in an OM Arts mission trip, spent months beforehand praying that God would use her to reveal Himself to someone. She was helping in outreach alongside the Bill Drake Band and OM's Dancelink as they gave a concert in a plaza. Toward the end of their program, a local man began pointing at a woman sitting on a bench. She seemed to sit lifelessly with an empty, blank look on her face.

Mary introduced herself to Aranka, the woman. Gently, Mary talked with her and had the opportunity to expand on what had been presented in the concert. She explained more about God's provision of salvation through Jesus Christ. Aranka listened carefully, asked questions, and then stated bluntly that she had no joy in her life. Mary told her that Jesus living in her heart brings true joy. To Mary's surprise, Aranka asked how she could experience Jesus in her heart. Mary reviewed the Gospel with her and asked if she understood. Yes, and she believed.

After Mary explained more about being in God's family, reading the Bible, praying and meeting with other believers, Aranka's expression changed, she smiled and thanked her. Mary was able to give Aranka information about a local church where she can grow in her faith. Pray for Aranka to be surrounded by believers who will help her to grow in her new walk with the Lord.
