Sports Ministry

Sports fields of all kinds are at the centre of every community around the world, filled with people competing and sharing life together. We believe every sports field can become a harvest field for discipleship and generate hope for families and communities through the transforming love of Jesus Christ. We want to see athletes and coaches, local churches and communities make the most of sports through sharing Christ in relational and relevant ways, such as hosting community sports activities, engaging in sports leagues, training coaches and athletes in applying biblical principles to sports, and much more.
If you have a passion for sports and a passion to bring the gospel to those who have never heard before, come find your fit with OM.

BEGIN HERE
Requirements

North Africa is full of young people interested in keeping fit and healthy. We would like to see new team members come and join our church-planting teams with the goal of reaching out in the gyms and sporting activities that are already available within the country. This will require training in the local culture, Islam, and friendship evangelism.  New people will also need to study language with the goal of fluency.

Start Date

As soon as possible

Commitment Length

2-3 Years

All jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
