Field Child safety officer

Do you have an interested in working in the area of Child protection? We are looking for a person who willing to promote understanding of Child safety policy in the field, and facilitate OM’s response to any Child Safety Incidences.

1. Policy & Procedure
Work with Field Leader to develop & promote appropriate Child Safety Policy in order to ensure children are kept safe and adults understand their responsibilities.
2. Training
Provide information on child safety standards and processes to children, parents and other team members in order to promote appropriate behaviour and facilitate reporting of incidents.
3. Communication & networking
Work with other child safety officers in order to ensure Child safety concerns are dealt with appropriately and leaders are kept informed.
4. Response*
Participate in Child safety inquiries in order to facilitate a timely and transparent response process.
5. Ministry involvement
Ensure you are actively involved in team life at your location when possible, in order to ensure you are ministering to others and being ministered to. 
6. Support base development
Actively develop and maintain a prayer and financial support base for your ministry with name of field.

Requirements:
- Mature Christian
- Organizational and administrative skills
- Effective communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable
- Proficient in English
- Proficient in Spanish (or willing to learn)
- Computer skills (Word, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Able to take the initiative
- Cultural/Emotional intelligence
