Would you like to use your media creation talents in new and unique ways to serve in an unreached part of Europe? Do you have a heart to come beside the local church, esteeming, training and equipping them to bring the good news to the lost in creative ways?
We are looking for animators and creators who can produce high quality videos and social media content, and train the local church to do the same.
Located in Southeast Europe in an area known as the Balkan Peninsula, Kosovo is the second-newest country in the world and has a population of approximately 1.8 million.
Situated in a crossroads of East and West, European secularism and Islamic radicalism, Kosovo has no official religion according to their constitution, however over 90% of the population identify with different sects of Islam making it the overwhelmingly majority religion. While different denominations of Christianity exist in Kosovo, the Protestant Church, which experienced significant growth following the ethnic war in 1999, is still quite small in number, being comprised of well under one percent of the total population.
As the new generation of Kosovars modernizes, OM Kosovo is seeking to utilize media creation to develop modern, but culturally relevant ways to work alongside the local church in reaching the lost.
Specifically, OM Kosovo is using new media in three main areas:
-to produce and promote beautiful, locally written worship music and video content
-to find seekers in unreached areas.
-to raise up passionate prayer for spiritual breakthrough
We need flexible, creative people who are willing to work in sometimes less-than-ideal conditions, to help build up our ministry in these areas throughout the country.
A normal workday might involve working on a music video for a newly composed song, making an infographic to encourage prayer, or producing an explainer video to creatively communicate the gospel. You'll also be a full part of the team's wider ministry, which could involve mentoring teens from violent backgrounds, facilitating Bible studies, or helping to lead a youth group.

Anea's story is one of abandonment, misuse, tragedy and hurt. But through OM in Kosovo's House of Joy programme, she has found hope for her, and her daughter's, future.
Although Debora's journey to get to House of Joy was one filled with valley after valley, she never lost hope and her friend Anita never stopped praying.
Exciting gospel encounters happen when disciples go out two by two, as Jesus commanded in Luke chapter 10.
Anita tells how she saw God answer her prayers in seeing Besjana from OM’s House of Joy programme reunited with her son.
