Working with Roma Families/youth worker

Are there people in Hungary who have not heard the gospel yet? People who have no church around them?
Yes, and unfortunately lots of them! In 2019 OM started a new ministry in a Roma neighborhood in the city of Tata. So far, we have afternoon clubs for the Roma children in this Szélkút area. Our goal is to reach them and their families with the love of Jesus. Would you join us?

Requirements

If you have a love for the unreached Roma people and a desire to be light in a dark place this is a place God can use you.
The work in the Szélkút area started in September 2019 with the social workers in the town of Tata. So far, OM has participated in the EU project with them. We have reached around 30 kids with their families. During the year 2020 we are searching for a place of our own for the Roma ministry. In the near future, our goal is to have a ‘community house’ to invite people more frequently. Using gifts such as music, crafting, arts and sports, holding Bible studies and discipling young and old alike we want to lake a difference in this needy community.
Next to this ministry there will be opportunities to help preparing and running outreaches for groups coming here and serve in the local churches with different kinds of ministries.
