Children Camp: Bring Hope among the Unreached Altai

Three years ago a local church in the city sent their first missionaries to minister to the unreached Altai ethnic group in Biyka village. Altai people believe in Shamanism and animism, but the Lord has been doing incredible things through family who moved there. During summer vacation they want to reach children and teenagers through daily camps. It gives great opportunities to minister to their parents while the children join the camps. Come and become a channel of God's blessings and help for local small church and the unreached Altai people.The team will travel to Biyka village in Altai republic to minister to the children and teenagers through daily camps. Also they have an opportunity to share Gospel to their parents.

Ministry Details

It's biggest joy for the kids to get involved in daily camps. Where they learn important life lessons through the games, discovering true joy and love in Jesus. They also get excited to make their own toys through crafts. Every day children get to listen to Bible stories, play games, do crafts and have a lot of fun. Not only children, but there will be a program for the teenagers. Where they play games, discuss important topics and spend thier free time getting to know Bible stories.

Participant Profile

Believers with the willingness to serve the unreached children & teens. You don't need to be a well-experienced Sunday school teacher. But have a heart to reach people.


In Novosibirsk at OM base you will sleep in shared rooms. You will be staying at missionaries' house in Byika village, Altai.


Good traditional Russian or Altai food. If you have any allergies, please let us know beforehand.


Arrive to Novosibirsk airport (OVB) anytime on June 20th. Depart from the same airport anytime on July 5th. From Novosibirsk you will travel to Altai by van, it takes about 7-8 hours.

People in Altai speak Russian, you will have a translator in the team. But you should not expect translation all the time 24/7.
