To advance the mission of Operation Mobilization, this position will engage with strategic Mid-Level donors and prospective donors, seeking to develop mutually beneficial partnerships and deepen their financial investment in OM’s mission.

  1. Establish and achieve annual generosity revenue goals for OM USA’s funding priorities, with an increase in giving year over year
  2. Annually increase the number of new donors who give at the Mid-Level, improve annual retention of existing ML donors, and annually increase the amount given from MLDs
  3. Maintain efficiency targets including cost-to-raise-a-dollar, and ROI


  1. Establish an annual “Logframe” and revenue goals in consultation with your supervisor
  2. Implement a gift acquisition and stewardship strategy for prospects and donors capable of annual gifts between $5,000 and $25,000
  3. Set production goals and utilize an activity calendar to realize revenue objectives
  4. Identify, cultivate, solicit, steward, and retain qualified relationships in an MLD portfolio, and apply a moves management approach to the portfolio
  5. Create high-quality, compelling proposals and stewardship reports
  6. Identify Planned Giving potential. Work in collaboration with the Planned Giving office to educate and provide planned gift opportunities for donors
  7. Improve ML donor satisfaction scores annually


  • Partner with and oversee the work of the Mid-Level Donor Manager
  • Engage qualified interns, through the US Internship program, to serve in the Mid-Level department each term
  • Recruit and hire contract workers and volunteers as needed


  1. Segment (new, sustained, and upgraded) and manage relationships with approximately 250 donors (qualified and potential)
  2. Identify new prospects by GG staff support, and through research and personal networking
  3. Create hundreds of regular engagement “touches” annually with individuals using face-to-face meetings, video conferences, and webinars, as well as print mail, social marketing, events, volunteers, etc.
  4. Communicate persuasively OM’s vision, mission, and funding priorities
  5. Meet donor’s stewardship objectives and OM’s funding goals with a servant’s heart


  1. An individual of unquestionable integrity whose professional and personal conduct reflects our values
  2. A committed Christian in agreement with OM USA Statement of Faith and mission
  3. 5-7 years of significant prior transferable professional experience required, with a preference for a successful experience in front-line relational fundraising at the five-figure level
  4. Demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others
  5. The ability to ignite a passion and to create and communicate excitement about our mission
  6. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write and speak clearly and effectively, and to listen, and an unusual capacity to engage, inspire and persuade
  7. Ability to invite financial gifts from individuals
  8. Ability to engage CEO, senior managers, field leaders and board members in donor visits, and to earn and maintain their confidence
  9. A self-starter with a high level of energy, self-confidence, and a positive “can-do” attitude are essential, as is humility
  10. Able to handle security sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  11. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize assigned tasks
  12. Demonstrated competence in today’s electronic environment and ability to learn
  13. Proven ability to hire, train, lead and inspire a diverse team
  14. BA/BS and or CFRE preferred
