 Performing duties common for fundraising functions, the Operations Specialist is OM’s GG CRM Administrator and is at the forefront of driving actionable insight through data. The role provides the fundraising team with analytical ability and problem-solving skills to translate data into critical insights that optimize OM USA’s engagement with its various audiences and constituent groups.


 Support the work of the fundraising team through donor database analysis and data hygiene, showing trends, patterns, and measuring performance to supply insights and recommendations to balance managerial, administrative and research responsibilities which guide the team in efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Data Hygiene and Integrity, particularly including:
    1. The operations specialist is the Generosity department’s primary connection between multiple departments as it relates to Virtuous
    2. Create and plan donor invitation lists for our annual fundraising
    3. Consistent communication with the application support team and the marketing team for donor communications like letters and emails relating to the partner satisfaction survey and major event emails.
    4. Maintain the Generosity department’s
  • Data Analysis and Management, particularly including:
    1. Promotes strategic decisions for performance, planning, and analysis using statistical Collates industry research with internal data to draw informative and contextual recommendations for annual and strategic planning.
    2. Enhance and support systems and procedures for standardization and
    3. Develop and deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting to provide clear visibility of performance metrics, including the GG team Dashboard.
    4. Perform analysis such as revenue forecasting, gift ask management, gifts from the annual fundraising event, the annual incentive from fundraisers’ impact,
    5. Analyze team performance against efficiency and effectiveness (such as average gift size, retention, number of six-figure gifts, etc.) finding root causes of changes in
    6. Produce and publish monthly expense budget-to-actual reports for each GG budget manager
  • Prospect Management, particularly including:
    1. Mines database to produce prospective donors to qualify and help
    2. Creates, optimizes, and reviews team
    3. Manages research needs and costs, especially for event
    4. Coordinates with and learns from a third-party researcher, often for utilization
  • Improve current data analytics and prospect management process by developing and maintaining a relationship mapping function of the CRM
  • Production of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed by the GG team
  • Potential to manage interns through the US Internship program, to serve in the Global Generosity team.

 Each team member is expected to participate in the team life activities of OM, including:

  1. Team events that focus on prayer, fellowship, training and development
  2. Assist team with
  3. Task Forces or Working Groups that facilitate cross-department
  4. Modeling the culture of OM USA

 Bachelor’s degree, business statistics


Minimum of five years of experience in CRM/database software applications,

Analytical reasoning, and report creation

Expert-level user of analytical tools such as excel pivot tables

Proficient user of data visualization tools, such as Tableau
